Psalm 8 | How Majestic is Your Name
Charlie Lewis continues our Summer in the Psalms series with a lesson from Psalm 8, “How Majestic Is Your Name.” He reminds us that while God is the all-powerful Creator who set His glory above the heavens, He is also deeply mindful of humanity and chooses to reveal His supreme power through the humble and weak. Through this lesson, Charlie breaks down the character of God as both Elohim (the mighty Creator) and Adonai (our personal Lord and Master). He explores how King David prophetically pointed forward to King Jesus, who now reigns in heaven with all authority placed under His feet. Ultimately, we are challenged to honor God’s majestic name daily by saturating ourselves in His Word, singing His praises, and actively lifting up and encouraging those around us.
