Missions Sunday – Changing Eternity
Eeternity is real, our opportunity is now, and the mission of Jesus belongs to all of us. In Luke 16, the story of the rich man and Lazarus shows the contrast between the way people live in this life and the eternal realities that follow. Through Christ, God offers eternal life instead of eternal destruction, and Jesus calls His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations. As God’s fellow workers, we may plant or water, but we trust God to give the growth. We are not just attending church for a few hours each week; we are the church every day, joining the mission of Jesus to help change eternity for others. (Scripture: Romans 10:13-16)
