If You Confess, You Will Be Saved
Sadly, a lot of the religious world is under the impression that if a person merely confesses Christ, or prays a sinner’s prayer, they are saved. It is easy to come to that conclusion when verses like Romans 10:10 are read in isolation, but the context paints quite a different picture. When Paul speaks of confessing Christ, he doesn’t mean a one-time confession. Romans 10 will challenge and encourage even longtime disciples. (Scripture: Romans 10:8-13)
