Authority to Judge
When we think about Jesus being born in Bethlehem and that news being announced to wise men and shepherds, why do we think that is Good News? Why does Jesus’ birth mean “peace and good tidings on earth”? Why do angels rejoice at this news? It’s Good News because humanity has a King who is partnered together with God to bring justice and peace. It’s Good News for all who give him their allegiance. (Scripture: John 5:25-29)
