Confident of Being with the Lord
One of the few things the New Testament says about where Christians go when we die is that we will be “with the Lord.” In the disembodied state of death, we will apparently be with the Lord in the heavenly paradise. Even though this is not our final state, it should give us an incredible amount of confidence and courage, knowing we will be with the Lord when we die. However, it should also make us consider if we are truly walking by faith while we are still in this body. (Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:1-10)
