I Am the Resurrection
When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, it was a “sign” that resurrection is not just something Jesus does, but something Jesus is. Jesus is the resurrection. Resurrection is about hope. Not a hope of “going to heaven” when we die, but the hope of not staying dead, being raised to life and living with immortal bodies in the new creation. That reality is literally “embodied” in Jesus.
