Yes. We are still moving forward with the Connections Center.

The campaign phase helped us see strong congregational support, and now we are moving into the work that happens before construction begins. This is not a pause in the mission. It is the next responsible step as we prepare for construction and continue giving toward Called to More.

Construction has not started because we are currently in the pre-construction phase. This is the time between commitment and construction when final plans, timelines, permits, financing details, and preparation work need to come together.

While the visible construction has not begun yet, important work is still happening behind the scenes. Our goal is to move carefully, responsibly, and prayerfully as we prepare for the next phase of the Connections Center project.

The overall goal has not changed. We are still moving forward with the Connections Center.

As plans are finalized, some details may be adjusted. That is normal for a project of this size. Renderings and early concepts help communicate the direction of the project, but final design details may change as leaders, architects, builders, and ministry needs are considered together.

Once the design is finalized, we plan to share a clearer update with the congregation.

Yes. You can still give toward Called to More.

If you made a commitment, you may begin giving toward it at any time by selecting the Called to More fund when giving online or through the Elexio app, or by noting “Called to More” on your check.

Even if you did not submit a commitment card, you can still participate by giving toward the initiative.

At this stage, the timeline is approximate. We expect to provide updates as key steps are completed, including fundraising milestones, finalized design plans, and construction preparation. If the current timeline holds, construction could begin near the end of 2026.

Pray that God will guide this process and use it for His glory. Pray for our shepherds, ministry leaders, architects, builders, and everyone involved in planning for the Connections Center. Pray that each decision will serve the mission of the church and help create more opportunities for connection, service, outreach, and growth.
