When will the support groups begin?

The support groups will begin in September.  This is to allow enough time for all who are interested to obtain information and plan for the meetings ahead of time.

What will membership in a support group cost?

The facilitators that conduct these sessions are volunteering their time and efforts.  The only cost will be for the course materials that will be used - $8.

Where will these sessions take place?

The group will decide on the meeting place on the first meeting.  The group may decide to meet at a home or at the church building.

How long will each session be?

We plan for each session to last an hour, but sessions may run longer.  Please don’t feel obligated to stay past an hour. 

What can I expect?

This is a very hard question to answer.  The best way to answer this question is that it is different for each person.  Each person will take away something different each time he or she attends.  Some things will come with time, some will come right away, some may not come at all.  What's important is that each person try to become as involved in the group as they feel comfortable with, and that they have open expectations.
