Divorce and Separation
Healing from your divorce is not easy. It’s a long, sometimes painful process.
We want to help you on your journey toward recovery. Here are some suggestions that can make a big difference in your progress toward healing:
Finding Support
Don’t try to go through separation or divorce alone. Link up with a divorce and separation recovery support group. It’s a place where you’ll find caring people who understand the issues you face.
The Foundation for Healing
Your progress can be slowed or stopped if you don’t build on the right foundation. It is so important that you begin the healing process with a strong foundation of good information and unlimited support.
Daily Encouragement
In the support groups you will be assigned a “life partner”. These life partners will be a source of personal and daily support. Each of you will commit to keeping in touch throughout the week via e-mail or phone to promote each other's well-being.
Personal Study
The curriculum that will be covered will provide daily reading and exercises to help you dig deeper into the recovery process.
You will not only experience a vast amount of raw emotions and feelings on a daily basis, you may also experience them all at one time.
