Mission Statement

Facilitate scriptural worship (Lord's Supper, giving, singing, teaching, and praying) through planning and implementation of congregational assemblies.

Ministry Description

Worship Planning & Coordination

• Schedule and distribute monthly worship assignments (coordinator, assistant coordinator, announcement maker, prayer leaders, communion thoughts leader, communion servers and scripture readers)
• Contact key worship personnel (coordinator and assistant coordinator) at the beginning of each month to ensure requirements are understood
• Ensure coordinator is in place each week

Lord's Supper

• Schedule monthly Lord's Supper preparation assignment
• Contact preparer at the beginning of each month to ensure requirements are understood
• Ensure communion is prepared each week
• Maintain communion supplies

Special Worship Services

• Arrange 4th Sunday night service (typically song/scripture service)
• Arrange 5th Sunday night service (typically a youth lead service)
• Provide coordination assistance with special event services

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

• Count attendance
• Stock attendance cards
• Maintain auditorium supplies
• Approve purchase requests for guest speaker payments
• Meet quarterly with Tim Pyles to discuss worship related issues
• Monitor new member involvement interest in worship related activities
