The Singing Ministry strives to exalt the name of Jesus, encourage brothers and sisters in the Lord, enrich the worship and create a love for singing at McDermott Rd through the use of the voice and mind in song.
Scriptural Support
It is apparent from New Testament scripture and other historical records that singing was a vital part of the early Christian’s life (ref. Acts 16:25; Matthew 26:30; Romans 15:9; James 5:13). Paul wrote that encouragement and fellowship within the brotherhood is enhanced by singing together (ref. Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16).
