The mission of the men’s ministry is to facilitate spiritual growth for the men of the congregation. To motivate and equip the men of the congregation to be spiritual leaders and servants in the church and to be Christ-like examples in the community, business environment and in their roles as husbands and fathers.
Scriptural Support
MATTHEW 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
HEBREWS 10:24-25
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
EPHESIANS 4:11-12
It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.
PHILLIPIANS 2:5-8
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross.
1 CORINTHIANS 7:2-4
But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife.
