Vacation Bible School 2008 - "He is the Rock!"

Join us for a journey to see why "He is the Rock!"

The McDermott Road VBS will be June 23^rd, 24^th, and 25^th from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. for children ages 3 (as of June 1^st, 2008) and potty-trained through children who will be entering 5^th grade in the fall.  On Wednesday night, June 25^th, we invite you to come to a dinner and carnival followed by a worship service and the closing VBS program.  

Our theme this year is “He is the Rock!”.  The children will learn about God’s word through singing, making crafts, watching puppet shows, playing games and by other creative learning activities.

Please fill out the registration form below.  Pre-registration is available through June 18^th.  A registration table will also be set up for registration on the first day of VBS.  Also, please complete the blue waiver form and the yellow waiver form if you want to allow your child(ren) to participate in VBS activities.  Waiver forms are to be mailed to the church office or dropped in the VBS registration boxes in the foyer of the main building.

This year, we will have a car pool line at dismissal to facilitate easier and more secure release at the end of each day.  Click here to download the car pool dismissal instructions.

You may download and print a VBS 2008 T-shirt Order Form if you wish to order one of the VBS 2008 T-shirts.  Completed T-shirt order forms and payment may be mailed or taken to the church office (3600 McDermott Road, Plano, TX 75025), or they may be placed in the VBS registration box in the main building foyer.

Please complete one of these forms for each child you would like to enroll in this year's Vacation Bible School at the church of Christ on McDermott Road.

Crying Child Clause

If a child cries for an extended amount of time and cannot be calmed down, a parent will be called.  When the parent arrives, he or she can either stay with the child and finish the day at VBS or take the child home.

Vacation Bible School Volunteers

Volunteer sign up began Sunday, April 27^th!   Please select an area in which you would like to volunteer your talents, and sign up on the Bulletin Board in the Foyer.  This is always a fun time for the children as well as the adults, so make your plans to help out June 23^rd-25^th.
