World English Institute (WEI) is a resource you can use to change the lives of people worldwide. Unlike other Bible Correspondence Courses, WEI gathers students who are interested in learning the English language.
The reading assignments are lessons from the Bible, and you correspond with interested individuals from people all over the world. English lessons cover God as creator, and students get an overview of the Bible from Genesis through the book of Acts. As interest and knowledge increases, there are ways to put these people in touch with Christians. You only study with those who have already completed the first lesson. One month this year, 997 students finished a lesson and were ready for a teacher.

Abundant Living Seminar / Retreat
The annual churches of Christ Abundant Living Seminar / Retreat will be held October 5th—8th in Branson, MO. Each year, as many as 19 states are represented. There will be singing, lessons, activities, entertainment and togetherness. Some at McDermott Road have already expressed an interest. Want to know more? Call Mark at the office!
Adult Mission Trip to South Texas
Make plans now to join the group going to South Texas on October 6th—10th. They will be helping with construction on various projects for the churches and families we support. Please sign the list on the Information Desk if you are interested in going with the group. The church bus will be leaving early on Wednesday, October 6th, and returning on Sunday, October 10th.
